Due to size, weight, and handling requirements, most solar panels must be shipped via freight carrier on a pallet or skid. UPS and FedEx are generally not suitable for solar panel shipments.

📋 Important Freight Delivery Guidelines

CSE Solar Solutions will coordinate your freight shipment using reliable carriers. All products are professionally packaged to meet industry standards for solar freight.

🚨 What You Must Do Upon Delivery:

1. Inspect Immediately

Look for crushed corners, torn boxes, broken shrink wrap, or any signs of damage.

Count and verify the number of pallets, boxes, or bundles matches the Bill of Lading (BOL).



2. Note Any Damage

Write “DAMAGE” and your initials with a description on the delivery receipt.

If you're unable to inspect at that moment, write “Subject to Inspection.”

Alert the driver of any discrepancies before signing.

Do not sign the BOL without noting visible damage.



3. Take Photos

Photograph all damaged items and the signed paperwork.



4. Report Within 72 Hours

Contact the carrier and email CSE Solar Solutions at

Include:

Your order number in the subject line

Description of the issue

Quantity affected

Photos of the damage





> ⚠️ If the BOL is not properly marked at delivery, CSE Solar Solutions is not responsible for any costs of replacement materials.



Once the delivery receipt is signed without notation, you accept full responsibility for the condition of the items received.

Return & Refund Policy


At CSE Solar Solutions, we want you to be confident in every purchase. If you're not satisfied or need to return a product, please review the following guidelines:

All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

Items must be:

Unopened, unused, and uninstalled

In new condition

In original manufacturer packaging with all hardware, labels, and documentation


Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping and insurance, unless the product is defective or an error was made by CSE Solar Solutions.


Restocking Fees:

Domestic returns: 20% restocking fee

International returns: 30% restocking fee

Restocking fees do not apply if the return is due to confirmed manufacturer error, damage, or shortage verified through the RMA process.


Battery / Storage Products:

May be returned within 30 days only if unopened and in original packaging

A 20% restocking fee + return shipping will be deducted from the refund


Non-Returnable Items Include:

Custom or special-order products

Drop-shipped or final-sale items

Products that have been installed or used

Items marked NCNR (Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable) — which will be clearly disclosed prior to purchase

📦 Returns, Damages & Claims Process

Inspect Your Order Upon Delivery

Before signing the delivery receipt:

Check for visible damage, torn packaging, shifted pallet stacks, or missing "Do Not Stack" pyramids

Verify the item count and ensure it matches the packing slip

Note any discrepancies or damage on the delivery receipt and inform the driver

If possible, open the package and inspect the product before accepting the delivery

Do not refuse delivery, as this may result in additional freight charges


Reporting Issues:

Shipping Damage

If damage is found:

1. Document everything:

Take clear photos of packaging and damaged items

Note all serial numbers

Keep original packaging



2. Contact us at ofer@cse.solar


3. If freight, also file a claim with the carrier


4. Our RMA team can assist with documentation



Missing / Overages / Shortages

Note discrepancies on the delivery slip

Contact ofer@cse.solar within 30 days

Backordered items will be automatically shipped without an RMA

🔁 Replacement Orders & RMA Instructions

If a replacement is needed:

Submit an RMA claim to ofer@cse.solar

Indicate your request for a replacement order

In most cases, a signed agreement to pay may be required before shipping the replacement


To complete a return:

1. Request an RMA number via email or call (775) 910-9827


2. Write the RMA number clearly on the return label


3. Ship to the correct RMA return address provided (may differ from original shipment)


4. Email tracking info to ofer@cse.solar



Once received and inspected:

A refund for the original purchase price (minus any applicable fees) will be issued

Product must be in resalable condition to qualify for a refund


❗ Important:

Returns without a valid RMA will be rejected and returned at your expense.

To cancel an order before shipment, contact us during business hours:

Cancellation Fees:

No fee if order hasn't been processed, authorized, or charged

5% cancellation fee if payment was authorized or processed

If order has already shipped, a restocking fee will also apply


Refunds are processed within 48 hours of cancellation approval or return receipt. Funds may take up to 7 business days or longer to appear, depending on your financial institution.
