🚚 Freight Delivery & Damage Policy

At CSE Solar Solutions, we prioritize safe and accurate deliveries. However, freight shipments can occasionally suffer damage in transit. To protect your investment and ensure a smooth claims process, please follow these essential guidelines when receiving your order:

📦 Inspection Upon Delivery

Inspect your order immediately upon arrival.

Look for any signs of damage — crushed corners, ripped packaging, shifted pallets, or broken items.

If damage is present, write “DAMAGE” with your initials on the Bill of Lading (BOL) or Delivery Receipt, along with a short description of the issue.

Take clear, timestamped photos of all visible damage, including packaging.

Notify the driver and do not refuse delivery unless instructed by us.

> If you are unable to perform a full inspection at the time of delivery, sign the receipt with “Subject to Inspection” clearly noted beside your signature.

📋 Shipment Verification

Count and confirm that the number of pallets, boxes, or bundles matches the Bill of Lading.

Report any shortages or overages directly to the driver and note them on the delivery paperwork.

Do not sign the delivery receipt without making necessary notations.

> ⚠️ Once a delivery receipt is signed without damage or inspection notes, CSE Solar Solutions is not liable for replacement costs or claims. Freight carriers limit dispute options once a delivery is accepted as-is.

🛠️ Reporting Damage or Issues

While clients are responsible for filing damage claims, CSE Solar Solutions is here to help.

🧾 To Report Freight Damage:

1. Contact the freight carrier immediately after delivery.

2. Notify us within 72 hours at ofer@cse.solar.

3. Include in your email:

Your order number in the subject line

A description of the damage

Photos of all damaged goods and packaging

Serial numbers, if applicable

Keep all original packaging and materials until the carrier completes the claims process.

Although clients handle damage claims directly with the carrier, CSE Solar Solutions will make every effort to assist by:

Providing original shipping documents

Helping coordinate replacements for same or similar items as quickly as possible
